AURORA Barracks Stat

This is the Aurora-1 Barracks. It trains all of the regular troops, plus the Bomba.

General informationEdit

Barracks train infantry units. More Barracks allow you to queue additional training orders. Upgrade to decrease troop training time.

Marines, Rhinos, Raiders, Pyros, Specters, Lancers and Berserkers can be trained here. In Aurora-1 Colony it can also train Bombas.

As humble as the barracks can be and look good leveled up on your base one should think twice before investing cores if you don't buy platinum, win anything good in tournaments (that is if they still have them often or at least every once in a while in your sector), and Zoot's Loot just gives you garbage besides winning nothing good from your alliance territorial reward (if you are even in an alliance and have territory) since you will not benefit much and/or notice the effect of having your barracks upgraded (for you won't upgrade them far) when you could have spent your cores and accelerators (if you use them on it) on much better things like your Command Center, Tech. Lab, Warp Gate, General's Quarters, etc.

The Barracks buildings now reduce troop training time!

Like the Constructor building, your Barracks buildings now reduce training times for all troops trained at the Barracks!  Each level of each Barracks across all of your colonies contributes to your total troop training time reduction!  Your Barracks buildings must be upgraded in order to receive this new effect.

Upgrade Barracks buildings across all of your colonies today to decrease your Barracks training times!

Upgrade your Barracks and Win!, 2013 May 24Edit

In honor of the new reduction in build times for units trained at the Barracks, upgrade your Barracks today and win 99% Building Accelerators!

Seven randomly selected players that complete a Level 15 or higher Barracks building upgrade on any of their colonies between now and 11:00pm PST on May 27th will receive a 99% Building Accelerator! Prizes will be paid out to the winners by Wednesday, May 29th at 11:00pm PST.

Edgeworld Game Fix: Barracks Bug, 2015 Jul 10Edit

Greetings Edgeworld Community,

As of July 10, 2015, the following updates, corrections, and additions have been released:

An issue where Players training Troops with maxed out Barracks would cause the game to crash has been addressed. This error should no longer occur when training.
